His Big House Children’s Church began seven years ago with a vision, a station wagon, and a passion to seek out children in low income communities who are in need of the love and hope that only a relationship with Jesus Christ can offer. His Big House has grown from that station wagon into a big bus, and a handful of visionaries that are dedicated in sharing the gospel message.

After visiting other countries,  Joe Smith felt the Lord leading him to carry the message of hope to children in his home city of Jacksonville, Florida. His Big House Children’s Church provides a safe and loving environment centered around these children, if only for three hours on Saturday morning.

After Joe Smith went home to be with the Lord in December of 2012, he left behind a legacy that still continues today, impacting many children every week. God has opened the hearts of His followers to keep moving forward and to grow His Kingdom as we plant seeds of faith in the hearts of His little children.
